Immediately makes me think of Redwall, not any particular book just the series in general. Nice job, I like the piece. Using the snakes as foreground elements is a really interesting design idea, because it puts the view in the middle of the action. It also creates a dynamic "frame" for the whole image. Again, nice job. One can really see the thinking that went into this one.

Yeah, it definitely has the same feel as a lot of the Redwall books.
I thought it was a cover of one for a second. ^^
Excellent technique. Nice shading. Good composition.
