This is a painting I did for my little cousin who will soon be going through a bone marrow transplant. I hope that every time she looks at it she will feel brave and strong.

I will pray for your cousin. I want to thank you for doing this. I so rarely get to see non sexualized black females. I have a hard time in fandom because I feel like in the future and in the past I didn't exist. Between movies and sci-fi and anime, I am a super rarity and at that always expendable and pointless. I doubt you wanted this deep of a reaction but I had to share with you that for today you are my hero.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feelings. One of the reasons I make art is that I hope it will benefit others. I am happy to say that my cousin returned home to be with her family a couple days ago. She's still not completely recovered but I'm sure it won't be long now till she is. :)

That is awesome that she is home and improving! Your art is awesome and it is benefiting others! Do you do any collabs? I am and have been looking for an illustrator for many projects. I would have to pay you either based upon profits or a fixed rate per piece. I have had ideas for a while now on some items that I think would do well and have little to no competition for... but they are work intensive and require a team instead of just me and I am not an artist. You know how manga looks in Japan, the one color at a time newsprint phone book sized books? I wanted to do something like that but educational... Where it would have a section of math and math problems and a quiz sheet to mail in for a prize and many many other things.. if you are interested in being involved please let me know. I want to make this happen but I am not an island. Think about it. Let me know.
