I'm intrigued by this character. He seems scholarly, a little less 'tough guy' than some of the other stuff you've done; I like that he has a very small weapon. The gigantic book adds a lot, too. XD

yeh he's a spellcaster of some sort i think, if you wanna know more about him ask :iconchapmanbaritone: it's his character.

He does look a bit off in proportions but your style works well with most of it. The detail you put into the clothing is what really makes this drawing stand out to me. Nice job man.

Careful with your proportions, it appears to have a lot of unintentional wonky-ness. The most notable of these ares are the extremely long arms, his neck is also far too long. One of the upper arms is longer than the other as well. I know its just a commission, but theres no reason you cant get more accurate proportions in. This may sound a bit skewed towards the negative, but i think you can handle it.

Sweet lines. VERY clean! Is this digital or traditional? I've been working on my inks but i can't get them super clean, since i work traditional. (Also a camera, lost the boot disk to my scanner ;))

Anyhow, i like the design, well thought!

Thanks, It's traditional then tweaked in photoshop, I use brightness contrast>sharpen>blur 7.0>cutout filter.

Not bad! I've only got a limited use to a computer at the momment so i'm working with straight traditional. I got a tablet to try digital inks too...lol.

Let me ask you something, where or how long have you been learning how to color? I've dabbled into the stuff but it's sort of difficult without a good program, but the color useage you have is very stylized, i'm impressed. (That don't happen too often.)

well I used to use prismacolor pencils about... 12 years ago, so thats where I got some experience with color. I bought a wacom intuos 3 about 2 years ago, and that's when I started working with digital colors. I would recommend watching :iconztransis:'s live streams of him coloring his stuff. He gave me lots of good tips.

Your stuff is also pretty impressive for only drawing for 3 years.
